Yoga
Our resilience informed yoga practices are uniquely created to meet the specific needs of each person. Yoga is an effective tool for trauma recovery because it can support the cultivation of feeling safe in the body, release stored trauma from the body, connecting the body and mind to decrease dissociation, provides an outlet for anxiety and rage.
Somatic Movement
Yoga is deeply somatic, as every stretch is guided according to the natural flow of breath. Somatic movement is conscious movement that strengthens the mind body connection.
Trauma Recovery Coaching
Reentering the world after severe trauma is overstimulating and overwhelming. We provide gentle guidance and support to survivors.
Inner Child Healing
Childhood Trauma creates gaps in development and leaves deep wounds. We work slowly to unravel deep childhood wounds and find a sense of closure.
Breathwork
Breathwork is the conscious practice of working with your breath to improve relaxation. Breathwork can support healing by retraining the nervous system and calming the fight/flight/freeze response. There are many styles of breathwork from calming to activating. We tailor specific breathwork practices for each individual.
